Graduates in any discipline with good communication ability in any Indian language and English are eligible to apply to the programme. Those with some media exposure will be preferred.
Final selection will be based on the quality of the three essays received along with the application and a subsequent telephone interview with the selection committee.

Library & Examination fee
NB: We do not charge any donation or capitation fee from students other than the normal tuition and library/examination fees.
Fees must be paid in one installment before the first day of class. The fees is payable through a bank DD, in favour of the Sri Sri Centre for Media
Limited scholarships are available on merit basis from the second term based on the student’s performance during the first term.
The SSCMS will arrange accommodation near the campus for those who request for assistance. Food and board could cost about Rs. 5,500/- a month with a Rs. 15,000/- refundable advance.
During the course of an academic year, there will be several daily and weekly assignments whose aggregate grading will reflect on a student’s final standing in the PGD Programme. There will be a final exam during July-August, 2006. Attendance, behaviour and general discipline will have due weightage in the final outcome of a student’s standing.
The annual convocation will be held in August, 2006 when successful graduates will receive their PG Diploma in print/broadcast/new media journalism.
